Here is one of my favorite post workout smoothies I found on Reboot with Joe, which is full of  anti-inflammatory foods and tastes great too!  Want an added boost- add some greens such as spinach or kale.

Coconut Peach Tumeric Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250 ml) coconut water or almond milk
  • 1 – 2 peaches (fresh or frozen) 1/2 banana (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 carrot
  • 1/2 in (1 cm) piece of fresh turmeric ( or 1 tsp ground)
  • 1/2 in (1 cm) piece of fresh ginger ( or 1 tsp ground)
  • Juice from ½ a lemon
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 handful of ice

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients, enjoy!
