Here is one of my favorite post workout smoothies I found on Reboot with Joe, which is full of anti-inflammatory foods and tastes great too! Want an added boost- add some greens such as spinach or kale.
Ingredients
- 1 cup (250 ml) coconut water or almond milk
- 1 – 2 peaches (fresh or frozen) 1/2 banana (fresh or frozen)
- 1/2 carrot
- 1/2 in (1 cm) piece of fresh turmeric ( or 1 tsp ground)
- 1/2 in (1 cm) piece of fresh ginger ( or 1 tsp ground)
- Juice from ½ a lemon
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1 handful of ice
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients, enjoy!
