Guilt Free Apple Crumble
Ingredients
- 8 cups of peeled and sliced apples (10 small apples)
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/3 cup brown sugar or sweetener of your choice
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup of gluten free rolled oats
- 1 cup of chopped or sliced almonds
- 1/3 cup almond flour (or grind your own)
- 1/4 cup sugar free maple syrup
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 2 tbsp shredded unsweetened coconut flakes
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 375 ' F.
- Mix the apples and cornstarch together until well blended.
- Sprinkle the remaining ingredients on top and stir to combine.
- Pour the apple mixture into the baking pan (9 X 11) and spread out evenly.
- In a large bowl, (you can use the same bowl) stir together the oats, almonds, almond flour, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, shredded coconut, cinnamon, and salt until well mixed.
- Sprinkle the oat mixture all over the apple to make the topping.
- Loosely over the dish with foil and bake for about 40 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until the crumble is lightly browned.
