What Is a Health Coach?
If you have not heard the term “health coaching,” you may find yourself wondering what a health coach does. Think of a health coach as a driving instructor. A driving instructor isn’t the one steering the car. A driving instructor guides you, the driver, to where you need to go. Health Coaches educate, motivate and support clients to achieve their health goals through positive lifestyle and behavioral adjustments.
Health Coaches are knowledgeable advisors who provide ongoing support and guidance as you set goals and make sustainable changes that improve your health and happiness. As your Health Coach, I will listen carefully and help you to navigate the world of contradictory nutrition advice to determine what changes are necessary for you.
